ADULT MINISTRY
Weathering The Storm Of Marriage - David and Joan Gill
“Weathering the Storms” is a practical and faith-filled marriage retreat designed to help couples anticipate and endure the inevitable challenges of life together. Blending biblical wisdom with proven therapeutic tools, participants will learn how to communicate through conflict, stay grounded in faith, and rediscover hope and intimacy even after the hardest storms.
David and Joann have celebrated 38 years of marriage while raising eight children. Their journey has weathered emotional, spiritual, financial, and social storms, yet through every season they have seen God’s faithful hand at work. It has not been perfect, but they have been present together in the fight — sustained by faith, strengthened by grace, and grateful for the God who calms every storm. Their experience offers encouragement to remind others to build their relationship on a firm foundation and prepare to lean into the storms of life.
Sharing The Gospel Through Tough Questions - Brent Doriety
One of the top reasons Christians struggle to share the Gospel is they are afraid someone will ask a question they don’t know how to answer. We will discuss how to handle tough questions that are sure to arise when sharing the gospel and discuss answers to some of the most common tough questions including: “How can I know God exists?”, “Why is Jesus the only way to God?”, and “Why do bad things happen to good people?” We will seek answers to some of our deepest questions as we prepare to help others find the answers they seek as well.
Redeeming Anger And Bitterness - Andrew Webb
Anger isn’t just a problem to fix—it’s a powerful emotion God designed for good. In Good & Angry, David Powlison shows how our frustration and outrage can reveal what we love most—and how God can redeem even our worst reactions for His purposes. Join us as we discover how the gospel transforms anger from something destructive into something redemptive.
Prayer Meeting - 4pm Mike May
Join us in Room 123 as we gather to pray over Chelsea and our Liberty Family.
