Preteens go “After Church To Somewhere” throughout the year!

During the month of February, Dads and Daughters are encouraged to have quality one-on-one time together on a date. Dads, this is a great opportunity to get to know your daughter more and to show her how she needs to be treated like a princess when she is old enough to date. Special memory books will be available at the Kids Information Desk on February 1st. These books will have a place to have a photo of you and your daughter, questions you can ask her, questions she can ask you, and paper/pencil games. Let the memories begin!
The entire church will experience the “Flavors of Africa” with a traditional West African meal (the meal will be our regular Wednesday evening meal at 5:00pm) Beginning at 6:15 pm, visit various booths featuring an authentic African language, tasting a variety of West African foods, hearing traditional African music, making crafts, playing games, and more! We’ll convene in the Worship Center at 7:15 pm to commission the group from LBC that will be going to Liberia to share the Good News of JESUS!!!!
. A week-long day camp for kids who have completed grades 1-6 in the 2011-2012 school year. This camp introduces and enhances your child’s abilities in various specialized track times. Lots of fun coupled with Bible study and worship will lead your child to know Jesus and grow in Him!
This luncheon is in honor of our sixth graders who are moving up to our Youth Ministry. Parents and out-going sixth graders learn about the wonderful opportunities that await them.
