During the 12:2 Challenge we are committing to five specific challenges:

Spend Time with the Master Daily (John 15:5)
Using a Bible Reading plan, we will read through the Bible together. Weekly scripture verses will be highlighted as well.

Fellowship with Believers (John 13:34-35)
This year I will go deeper by committing myself to a small group that is intentional about Reaching, Transforming, and Ministering to people locally, nationally, and around the world. I will also commit to a place of ministry based on how God has shaped me. A critical principal when belonging to any family is the willingness to serve God and others.

Give to the Lord First (Matt.6:19-24)
This year I will not only commit to a tithe to the local church, but to seek God as he directs me to give sacrificially to support other areas of need. Some specific opportunities include the Capitol Fund Giving as well as special offerings like Lottie Moon and Annie Armstrong. I will also consider taking any financial classes provided by the church.

Invest One week In a Mission Context (Matt. 28:18-20)
This year I commit to making missions more of my lifestyle. Though more time may be focused on Chelsea, this year I also commit to praying, giving, and going like I have never done before. I will devote one week of my time to be on mission, and as a member of this church family, I embrace the desire to be world-impacting disciples who partner with others to fulfill the Great Commission with an Acts 1:8 focus.

Share Your Story (Acts 1:8)
This year I will commit to praying for people around me that are without Christ, and sharing my story with confidence. As I make “being on mission” more of my lifestyle, I will also be more intentional about sharing my faith. If needed, I will also commit to participating in any evangelism training provided by the church.
